Incline Village Real Estate 12/16/18
It’s starting to feel like winter on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. But you would never know by the activity on the Incline Village real estate market. Things are still moving along at a nice solid pace with 9 properties going into escrow last week. There were 6 new listings, 4 price changes and 7 properties closing escrow to round out the action on the Incline Village MLS.
All sectors of the market got in on the action last week. The prices of properties going into escrow ranged from $314,000 for a little condo all the way up to $4.3 million for a luxury home in the Lakeview subdivision. It looks like the total for all Incline Village real estate sales in2018 will be about the same or slightly ahead of last year. With inventory levels remaining low it’s likely that overall sales in 2019 will not exceed the totals for this year.
Checking out the new listings on the Incline Village real estate scene there are a couple of new offerings that we think are worth a closer look. Condo buyers on a budget will want to checkout 807 Alder Ave. – #34 All Seasons. This popular low elevation complex is located right in the center of town close to everything. You’ll find997 square feet of living space inside this two-bedroom, 2 bath loft style condo. One bedroom and bath are on the entry level and the other bedroom and bath are on the upper level. Features include open beam cathedral ceilings,a nice deck overlooking the trees and the property is offered furnished. Offered at $335,000.
Lakeview lovers will want to check out the remodeled home at 554 Silvertip Dr. The transformation of this property should be finished sometime in the next couple of weeks. This single family home has been given a complete makeover including a gorgeous new master suite and completely remodeled kitchen. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated. The oversized garage will accommodate 3 to 4 cars plus space for a workshop. New pictures will be forthcoming after the remodeling is completed. The asking price is $1,338,000.
Skiers and snowboarders will be delighted to see a new storm coming in that should drop a significant amount of snow on the slopes. While Tahoe area ski resorts are open for the season the snow pack is still relatively low. Watch out for obstacles and be aware that coverage may be thin especially on the steeper runs.
