Incline Village Real Estate Market
It was a lovely autumn week on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. The Incline Village real estate market continued to move along nicely with 10 properties going into escrow. Luxury buyers were not out in force during the past week as the properties going under contract ranged from $269,000-$1,150,000. The Incline Village MLS also brings us 8 new listings, 8 price changes and 16 properties closing escrow. Quite a busy week for the title companies!
There was one rather landmark sale on the Incline Village real estate scene last week. The three-bedroom, 3.5 bath, 1664 square-foot remodeled condo at 1000 Lakeshore – #18 closed for a record-setting $1 million. Previous to this sale, the highest sale price in the complex was $769,000 during the peak of the real estate boom in 2006. While #18 has top quality finishes throughout, $1 million is still a rather astounding price.
Stand Out Properties
There are a couple of new Incline Village real estate listings that we would like to put under the microscope. First up is a beautiful condo at #15 The Pointe located at 933 Northwood Blvd. This is the most luxurious condo building in Incline Village. Located on the 2nd floor of this three-story building, #15 boasts nearly 2800 ft.² of living space. You’ll enjoy 3 spacious master suites, a nice open floor plan and a big kitchen. The property is mostly original but these condos were built with very good quality finishes throughout including hardwood floors and granite tile counters. The underground parking garage provides you with 2 spaces plus you get your own little storage room. And you even have an elevator to take you up this condo where you can enjoy 1 level living and a bit of a lake view. Offered at $1,300,000.
Condo shoppers looking to spend a bit less will find a nice place close to the beach for less than half the price. #245 McCloud is a two-bedroom, 2 bath, 1089 square-foot lower level unit in a delightful woodsy setting. Situated on the Incline way side of the complex, just a hop and a skip from the Rec Center. It’s about 2 blocks to Incline beach and you don’t even need a car to get there, just wind your way through the complex. Furnishings are negotiable and the asking price is $614,000.
Fall is here
It’s a beautiful time to come up to Lake Tahoe and enjoy the gorgeous autumn weather. Things are looking nice for the next several days and this could be your last opportunity to catch the remaining colors.
