Incline Village Real Estate Blog 11/10/19

The Incline Village real estate market had another solid week with 11 properties going into escrow. Throw in seven new listings, five price changes and seven closed escrows and you have a pretty darn good week for November. Action was strong across the board with properties going into escrow ranging in price from $255,000 up to $2,345,000.

Notable among the closed escrows was a property for over $11 million selling on Debra Lane. The super high-end luxury market has been exceptionally strong in 2019. This bodes well for the overall US economy. When the most affluent among us are voting with their dollars it shows great confidence. So, this is a good sign as we come to the end of 2019 and look forward to what the election year will bring to the Incline Village real estate market.

With no snow on the horizon, the hiking and mountain biking is excellent. During the past 17 years there have been several autumns where we did not see any snow. It’s impossible to predict what type of winter we will have based on the current weather situation. So, while the ski areas are making snow at night, don’t expect anything more than the lowest level beginner runs to be open anytime soon.
