It’s been a beautiful summer for the Incline Village real estate scene. For the 1st time in 7 years we have not experienced smoke from fires in northern California. This has made outdoor activities a lot more enjoyable. And everyone trying to sell a Lakeview house or condo can actually showcase their property. It’s also nice seeing able to keep the windows open and let those cool evening breezes blow through.

Once again we had double-digit action for sales of Incline Village real estate. 10 properties went into escrow ranging from a little condo at $319,000 all the way up to a luxury lakefront condo with a $4.2 million sticker. It was huge week for new listings with 18 properties hitting the market. There were 37 price reductions which is a gigantic number. But about half of them were at the new development taking place on Big Water Drive in Crystal Bay.

18 new listings is a lot for this time of year. It’s possible that many of these sellers wanted to use their property for one last summer before putting it on the market. Prices are near or above the prerecession peak for all market sectors. So it’s not surprising to see this surge of late-season new listings including a 1 bedroom McCloud condo offered at $550,000

Low elevation buyers of Incline Village real estate will want to check out 198 Country Club Dr. – #47 Country Club Villas. Offered at just under $1.3 million this is a well situated three-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2,134 square-foot freestanding condo. Located practically across the street from the Hyatt Hotel and Casino and in close proximity to the beach. Very desirable floorplan with the master suite and great room upstairs. Vaulted ceilings, open and spacious plus you get a two-car attached garage. Properties in this complex have been selling quickly so we say don’t delay check it out today
