Inside Incline Blog for 3-19-18
Neither snow nor road closures could dampen the enthusiasm for buyers seeking to purchase Incline Village real estate last week. Even with Interstate 80 shutting down for a while due to the latest blizzard, the Incline Village MLS still reports 10 properties going into escrow. Combine that with 12 new listings, 6 price changes and 11 properties closing escrow and you’ve got a very busy week overall.
The Incline Village real estate market brings us several new listings that are worth a look so let’s get right to the action. In the Mountain Shadows complex there are 3 new condos to consider priced between $339,000 and $389,000. The least expensive one looks well maintained but is pretty original. The most expensive one has been partially remodeled.
All of these units have 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1360 ft.² of living space. The living rooms feature cathedral ceilings along with a corner fireplace. Each location has their own attributes so we recommend checking all of them out if you’re thinking of buying in Mountain Shadows. Please keep in mind that there is an HOA assessment and you’ll need to confirm the balance due on any particular unit.
A bit higher up the food chain is the single-family home located at 630 Martis Peak Rd. Offered at $1,798,000, this property is in a fabulous location in the Lakeview subdivision. Inside you’ll find 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and nearly 3700 ft.² of living space. Nice high open beam ceilings, wood burning fireplace with a gas starter and a pleasant woodsy setting make this a special place. Whether you do some cosmetic updating or enjoy as is would be your decision. The place is perfectly livable as is. If you’ve been waiting for a nice spot at low elevation this piece of Incline Village real estate is worth checking out.
Sales activity in McCloud continues at a torrid pace. The condo we wrote about recently at #237 went into escrow already along with #240 last week. Anyone considering a purchase in this popular low elevation complex will want to check out the 2 condos currently on the market before they disappear. It is not a stretch to say that we could see the sale price of a two-bedroom McCloud exceed $600,000 in 2018.
